Holy crap! I can't believe I forgot to mention that I saw MARY POPPINS THE MUSICAL at a local theatre here! It was one of the best experiences of my life even though we were miles and miles up into the audience. Aamna and I had been planning to go ever since the night we met and saw that it was coming to Manchester and we actually went!

It was such a tremendously good musical. The storyline was somewhat different from the classic Disney film but I don't know if it was more true to the book? The songs were SO AWESOME and fun and grand and supercalifragilisticexpealidocious. (Spellcheck, anyone?) Ah, it just made me all giggly with excitement. It was beautiful! Definitely go see it if you ever get the chance.
